Join us at the VBMA for Summer Art Camp! Campers will explore a variety of artmaking techniques, materials, and processes. Classes are grouped by age, for children 5 through 16 years old, and all supplies are included in a wide variety of media. This year’s weekly themes are inspired by the exhibition French Moderns: Monet to Matisse and the VBMA’s collection. Campers will visit the galleries daily on guided tours for inspiration and then create their own unique artworks and experiment with a diverse array of media.

Throughout the week, campers’ artworks are proudly displayed in the Eggert Children’s Gallery and the Patricia M. Patten Community Gallery. Every Friday, families are invited to walk the gallery and collect their children’s beautiful artworks to take home.
