Art Matters—July 2024

sted July 12, 2024

Museums can increase our well-being, help us better understand where we come from, and inspire and challenge us. For nearly 40 years, the Vero Beach Museum of Art has enriched and transformed lives by encouraging active public participation, engaging with diverse communities, and sharing its collections and knowledge through superior events and exhibitions.

The VBMA is committed to providing and expanding access to creative, educational, artistic, and humanities-based opportunities. Last year, we hosted nearly 70,000 members and guests in our galleries, more than 1,500 for classes and workshops in our Museum Art School studios, and 23,000 more through school group experiences, outreach programs, and Summer Art Camp.

Individual and corporate sponsorship of the Museum’s programs and exhibitions underscores that Art Matters and ensures that art and art education are accessible to all.

In future issues of this blog and a new quarterly Art Matters email newsletter, we will share inspirational stories of individuals, families, and groups whose lives are touched through their engagement with VBMA. It is a tribute to those who invest in our Museum and its ability to transform lives through art and education.

We hope you enjoy this new feature. Thanks to all who have joined and plan to join VBMA on its journey to make an increasingly positive difference in the lives of those in our community.
