Teach at the VBMA Museum Art School

The VBMA’s Museum Art School seeks proposals from artists and art educators to lead classes and workshops for adults in the following areas: art history, art appreciation, photography and editing, drawing, mixed media, collage, pastels, watercolor, acrylics, oil painting, jewelry-making, ceramics, sculpture, and contemplative arts (including pilates, qigong, tai chi, yoga, etc). Other areas of art and mediums are also desired. Classes can be geared toward beginners, intermediate, advanced or all levels.

CLASSES
5- and 10-week classes will be offered each term.

The submission period for class and workshop proposals for fall term has closed. However, VBMA is always accepting class proposals for future terms. Classes are typically 5 and 10 weeks in a particular medium or subject.

WORKSHOPS
The VBMA is always accepting workshop proposals. Workshops are typically 1-3 full days of instruction in a particular medium or subject.

SUMMER ART CAMP
Week long classes will be offered during the months of June and July.
We are currently fully staffed with Summer Art Camp Instructors,  Coordinator, Counselors and Teen Volunteers for SAC 2024. However, we are always looking for future SAC staff.
