Public Programs Inspired by French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850–1950

In conjunction with the vibrant exhibition French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850–1950, the VBMA is excited to offer a selection of public programs designed to complement and enhance the exhibition.

The ​Art of the Cocktail
Drawing inspiration from the exhibition French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850–1950, guests will enjoy a lively docent-guided tour exploring the theme of the evening. The event continues in the Bill and Laura Buck Atrium, where an expert mixologist will guide you through creating your own custom crafted cocktail. Sip your beverage, savor light hors d’oeuvres, and take home a recipe card to recreate the experience. All ingredients will be provided, ensuring a delightful and enriching evening for all. A mocktail option will be available upon request.

$40 per person and per class for VBMA Members; $50 per person and per class for non-members
Space is limited; pre-registration is required. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
